Everyone’s AI
In short
- Persyst works without an MCP server to install: it is a remote MCP server shared by the team, with no developer tooling on anyone’s computer.
- Read-only: a team key with the Customer Support role is enough. Persyst replies to no review and changes nothing in App Store Connect.
- The full review history is imported as soon as the app is added, with each review’s country and the developer response.
- Statistics computed over all imported reviews, by day, week, month, app, country or rating: not over a sample.
EXAMPLES
What your team can ask
Are French reviews harsher than the others since the redesign?
Yes. Since September 15, written reviews average 3.1 in France against 4.0 in the United States and the United Kingdom. French reviews mostly mention the removal of offline mode (17 reviews, for example “can’t check my tickets in the metro anymore”).

Which negative reviews from this week are waiting for a reply?
Six one- and two-star reviews since Monday have no response: four in France, two in Belgium. Three mention a declined payment, two a login code that never arrives, one the subscription price.

HOW IT WORKS
App Store Connect in your AI, in three steps
Connect App Store Connect
The developer account holder creates a team API key with the Customer Support role. In Data sources, the Persyst administrator enters the Issuer ID, the Key ID and the
.p8file. The App Store Connect guide covers each step.Choose the apps
In Apps, the administrator ticks the apps whose reviews should be read. The full history is imported right away, then new reviews every 6 hours.
Ask from the assistant
In Access management, the administrator opens the apps to support, product or leadership. Everyone asks in ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot: “what do French reviews say since the update?”, “which negative reviews are waiting for a reply?”. The history keeps track of who looked at which app, and when.

COMPARISON
Persyst or a App Store Connect MCP server?
| Criterion | Persyst | Community App Store Connect MCP server |
|---|---|---|
| Who authenticates | The company, once, through an administrator. | Each member, with their own API key. |
| Installation | None: a remote MCP server, authorized from the assistant. | A server to install and maintain on every machine, or a third-party service you hand the key to. |
| Where credentials live | Encrypted in Persyst, never in the assistant. | In each member’s assistant configuration. |
| Scope | Per person, team or client, then per opened item. | Everything the key allows. |
| History | Who used which tool, and when, for the whole team. | None, or machine by machine. |
| When a member leaves | One-click revocation, in every AI. | A key to revoke at the vendor, machine by machine. |
What this connector does not do
- No writes: Persyst publishes no response to reviews. The assistant can draft one, to publish in App Store Connect.
- Reviews only: no downloads, sales, crashes or TestFlight.
- Apple only exposes written reviews: star-only ratings are not included, and the computed average can differ from the App Store rating.
- No personal connection: App Store Connect is connected at the organization level, with a team API key.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is there an official App Store Connect MCP server?
No. Community MCP servers exist, mostly to manage builds, TestFlight or metadata from a developer’s computer, with an API key on each machine. Persyst serves the teams that read reviews: the key is plugged in once, and each team only sees the apps open to it.
Does each member need an App Store Connect account?
No. The developer account holder, or an Admin, creates a team API key with the Customer Support role and hands it to the Persyst administrator. Members need neither an Apple account nor an invitation.
Where is the API key stored?
The private key is encrypted in the organization’s secrets and never shown again. Persyst checks it with Apple before saving it; it can be replaced at any time without losing the imported reviews.
Can the assistant reply to reviews for me?
It can draft a response from the review and your guidelines, but not publish it. Publishing happens in App Store Connect, by someone with access.
Does the data stay with Persyst?
Reviews are imported to Persyst’s servers, hosted in the European Union. The reviews read to answer are passed to the assistant of the person asking, like anything else they share with it.
