Follow up with a prospect after an Aircall call, from Claude or ChatGPT

Summary, notes and transcript of the last Aircall call, cross-checked with the Sellsy opportunity: your AI drafts the prospect follow-up. Read-only, line by line.

Published on October 28, 2026

In short

  • Connect Aircall and Sellsy to your assistant through Persyst: it finds a prospect’s last call, reads its summary and your notes, then drafts the follow-up.
  • The sales rep does not replay the call to find out what was promised: the assistant tells them, with the listening link if needed.
  • A sales manager does the same for the whole team: the week’s calls per rep, demos, recurring objections.

I called Atelier Nord yesterday on +33 4 78 12 34 56. Draft the follow-up: what we discussed, what I promised, the next step.

Outbound call yesterday, 2:05 pm, 23 min, tag “demo”. According to the Aircall summary: Léa Morel wants to equip two teams, is blocked on the integration with their invoicing tool and expects a quote before Friday. Your notes: “send industry case study + quote for 2 teams”. Draft: “Hello Léa, thank you for our call yesterday. As agreed, please find attached the quote for your two teams…” The Sellsy opportunity is still at the Discovery stage: consider moving it to Proposal.

The problem: what was promised on the phone

After a discovery call or a demo, the follow-up has to go out fast and repeat exactly what was said: the need, the objection, the promise made. Those elements are in Aircall (summary, transcript, notes); the state of the deal is in the CRM. The rep pieces them together by hand, or replays the call.

What the assistant does, step by step

With Persyst’s Aircall and Sellsy connectors, the request “Draft the follow-up of my call with Atelier Nord yesterday” chains:

  1. Find the call on the Sales line, by number and period (search_aircall_calls), then its metadata: duration, rep, tags (read_aircall_call).
  2. Read what was said: the Aircall summary (read_aircall_summary), the transcript if needed (read_aircall_transcription) and the rep’s notes (read_aircall_call_notes).
  3. Cross-check with the CRM: the prospect’s Sellsy record and opportunity (search_sellsy_crm, get_sellsy_object).
  4. Draft the follow-up and flag any gap between the call and the opportunity stage.

On request, the assistant also provides a temporary listening link to the recording (get_aircall_audio), if that right is open.

For a sales manager

The same tools serve the team review, without replaying calls:

  • “List this week’s demos on the Sales line, per rep, with their duration.”
  • “Summarize yesterday’s calls tagged “demo” and point out recurring objections.”
  • “Which prospects called this week have no open opportunity in Sellsy?”

Setup

  1. An administrator connects the company’s Aircall account in Data sources, with its API keys, and picks the lines to share (Aircall guide).
  2. They open the Sales line to the sales team, with the chosen tools: search, notes, summary, transcript, listening.
  3. Each rep connects their Sellsy account in My connectors, then adds Persyst to their assistant (getting started).

Limits to know

  • No search in call content: calls are found by number, period, rep or tag.
  • Summaries and transcripts depend on the account’s Aircall license.
  • Nothing is written or sent: the follow-up is a draft, to send from your mailbox.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does the assistant send the follow-up email?

No. It writes a draft in the conversation. Persyst is read-only on Aircall and Sellsy: nothing is sent, noted or changed in those tools.

Can I search for a call by what was said?

No. Calls are found by their metadata: period, number, rep, direction, tags. Once the call is found, the assistant reads its summary, transcript and notes.

Do I need a specific Aircall license?

Summaries and transcripts are produced by Aircall and depend on the account’s license. Without them, the assistant relies on the call metadata and the rep’s notes.

Does a sales rep see every call in the company?

No. An administrator opens specific Aircall lines, to a team or a person, then tool by tool. The Sales line can be opened to the sales team without opening the Support line.
