Aircall

Generate an Aircall API key, plug it into Persyst and choose which lines to share.

Aircall is connected once for the company, with an API key: an API ID and API token pair. Members don’t need an Aircall account; they access the lines an admin opens to them.

Generate the key in Aircall

  1. Sign in to the Aircall Dashboard with an admin account, then open Integrations & API and the API Keys tab.

  2. Click Generate an API key, top right, and give it a recognizable name, for example Persyst.

  3. Copy the API ID and the API token. Aircall only shows the token once: if it is lost, you need to generate a new key.

Plug Aircall into Persyst

  1. In Persyst, open Data sources and choose Aircall.

  2. Paste the API ID and the API token, then click Test connection. Persyst checks the pair and shows how many lines are available.

  3. Click Connect, then select the lines to share. No line is selected by default.

Connecting the account and selecting lines doesn’t give access to any call yet: then grant each line, with its tools, to the relevant teams or people. Listening is a separate right from notes, transcription and summary.

Renew the key

From the connector page, Replace credentials accepts a new pair for the same Aircall account. Access already granted is kept, and if the new pair fails, the previous connection stays active. Once the replacement is confirmed, revoke the old key in Aircall.

Troubleshooting

  • “Enter a complete API ID and token pair”: one of the two fields is empty. Both values come from the same key.
  • “Could not verify the Aircall connection”: the pair is wrong, or the key was revoked in Aircall. Check what you pasted, or generate a new key.
