Google Analytics

Authorize Google and select the Google Analytics 4 properties available to members.

The connection uses a Google account with access to the relevant Google Analytics 4 properties, with at least the Viewer role. This flow requires neither an API key nor a Google Cloud project.

Connect properties

  1. In Data sources → Add a source, choose Google Analytics.
  2. Start the connection and authorize the appropriate Google account. Persyst only requests read access.
  3. Open Properties and add the required GA4 properties.
  4. In Access management, assign the properties and their tools to recipients.

Check a read

An authorized member can ask: “On this Google Analytics property, give sessions and key events for the last seven days by channel, and state the dates returned.”

The last 24 to 48 hours are not final yet at Google, and thresholds can hide low-volume rows: the assistant is told about both. The key events read are those configured on the property.

Personal access and maintenance

Google Analytics is also offered under My connectors for a personal account. The shared source follows the organization’s assignments.

If the Google account loses access to a property, Persyst can no longer read it with this connection. Keep access up to date in Google Analytics and adjust properties and recipients in Persyst when the scope changes.
