Sellsy

Create a private Sellsy API V2 access, retrieve credentials and authorize Persyst.

Sellsy uses OAuth, but first requires credentials for your company: a Client ID and Client Secret. After entering them in Persyst, you are redirected to Sellsy to authorize the connection.

Create API access in Sellsy

The person completing this step needs permission to manage the company’s API access in Sellsy.

  1. In Sellsy, open Settings → Developer Portal → API v2.
  2. Create a Private access for a connection authorized by a user.
  3. Enter Persyst’s redirect URL. For the standard hosted service:
https://api.persyst.ai/integrations/sellsy/callback
  1. Allow the scopes used by Persyst. Read: companies.read, contacts.read, individuals.read, opportunities.read, phonecalls.read, staffs.read, search.read and activities.read, plus comments.read and custom-fields.read. For personal accounts, also enable CRM write scopes: companies.write, contacts.write, individuals.write, opportunities.write, comments.write and custom-fields.write.
  2. Immediately copy the generated Client ID and Client Secret. Sellsy only displays the secret once.

For a Persyst deployment with a different API address, have its operator confirm the redirect URL before creating access.

Authorize the connection in Persyst

  1. In Data sources → Add a source, choose Sellsy.
  2. Enter the Sellsy Client ID and Sellsy Client Secret from the same API access.
  3. Click Connect Sellsy to open authorization in Sellsy.
  4. Check the account and company, then authorize access.
  5. Back in Persyst, grant the source and tools to recipients in Access management.

Members using this source follow their Persyst grants. Do not give API credentials to their assistants.

Verify and maintain the connection

An authorized member can ask their assistant to find a known Sellsy company and cite its record. Choose an example they are allowed to read.

If the Sellsy account’s permissions change or API access is revoked, have the connection owner repeat authorization. A new Client Secret must be saved in Persyst before removing the old API access used by the integration.

Authorize CRM updates

Write tools can create and enrich companies, contacts, individuals and opportunities, append follow-up comments, fill custom fields and link a contact to a company.

  1. In My connectors → Add a connector, choose Sellsy.
  2. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret of the private API V2 access with the write scopes listed above.
  3. Authorize your own account on Sellsy’s consent screen.

Writes exclusively use this personal account, with its Sellsy permissions and the tools available in Persyst. Shared sources remain read-only, including for the person who connected them. Each member who needs to write therefore connects their own account.

If your personal account was connected before these tools were added, enable write scopes on the Sellsy API access, then reconnect the account in My connectors. Refreshing an existing token does not grant additional permissions.

To add a meeting summary without replacing an existing note, request a follow-up comment. To update contact details, the assistant should first identify the record and then supply only the fields to change.
