Purchasely

Create a read-only Management API key, plug it into Persyst with its expiry date and choose the apps.

The connection uses a Purchasely team Management API key. Purchasely offers no OAuth: the key is plugged in at the organization level, with no personal connection. Persyst queries Purchasely on each question and stores none of its data beyond a cache of a few minutes; it creates, changes, publishes and deletes nothing in Purchasely.

Create the key in the Purchasely console

  1. Open the account menu (your avatar, bottom left), then Management API keys, and create a key named for example Persyst. It takes the API keys · Manage permission; the key is shown only once.
  2. Tick only viewing scopes, the ones ending in :view. setup.apps:view is required: Persyst checks the key with it. Add the :view scope of each tool family to open: catalog (screens, flows, placements, audiences, campaigns, A/B tests, products, plans, surveys, custom events), dashboards, campaigns, A/B tests, surveys, and users, subscriptions and one-time purchases for the personal data tools.
  3. Note the expiry date you chose (90 days by default), then share the key through a secure channel.

Check the exact name of each scope in the console or in the Management API reference. When a permission is missing, the tool’s message names the one to add.

Plug in the key and choose the apps

  1. In Data sources → Add a source, choose the scope, then Purchasely.
  2. Enter a name, paste the key, set its expiry date (prefilled at 90 days), then click Connect. Persyst checks the key with Purchasely before saving it.
  3. In Apps, tick the ones opened in Persyst. An app that is not chosen stays invisible to assistants.
  4. In Access management, open each app to the relevant teams, clients or members, with the tools they need.

The find_purchasely_user and list_purchasely_purchases tools expose personal data: they are off by default and are enabled explicitly, after confirmation, in the connection’s tools.

Check a read

An authorized member can ask: “What was our paywall conversion by placement last month?”

“All apps” figures only cover the apps open to the member, read one by one, never summed. Purchasely limits calls per key: a tool then says how long to wait, or asks to shorten a period that is too heavy.

Replace or remove the key

14 days before expiry, the source shows “Key expiring soon”; as soon as Purchasely rejects the key, it shows “Key expired or revoked”. Create a new key, then click Replace the key in the connection tab: apps and access are kept. In Purchasely, rotating a key cuts the old one off immediately: paste the new one without delay.

Deleting the connection erases its key in Persyst. Revoke it in the Purchasely console as well.
